Anima: Tactics
is a skirmish miniature wargame set within the fantasy world of Gaia,
created for the Anima: Beyond Fantasy role playing. Anima: Tactics is a
fusion of East meets West with Japanese video game stylings combined
with Medieval arms and magic. Anima: Tactics is a no-holds barred
skirmish combat game that pits heroic characters against each other in
the eternal struggle between the forces of Light and Dark. In this
gritty battle, alliances shift and change, and many heroes will struggle
with their own souls to decide which side of the line they stand on.
Conquer your foe
by utilizing your characters special powers in devastating combos. Get
into the game with a Light or Dark starter game that includes 2
characters, rules, dice, character and asset cards, action counters and
more.
Increase your force and tactical flexibility with heroic character blisters from the light, Dark, or Neutral factions.
Each Blister
pack contains a highly detailed metal miniature, a character card,
advantage card, and all the action counters and spell counters you need.
LIGHT FACTION
The forces of
light are struggling to maintain control over a shattered world. Magic
is retaking Gaia. The Empire is decimated, and the forces still aligned
to the Light must struggle against the Darkness to claim the Lost
Loggia, the wisdom of forgotten ages.
The forces of light corrupt
and decimate the world. With the Empire weakened forces that have slept
unknown for aeons awaken to spawn havok upon Gaia. A battle rages to
find the Lost Loggia, for with the wisdom within, the forces of Darkness
could plunge Gaia into eternal darkness.
Some forces carenot for the
alliegence of the factions. Some fight for money, some for fame, And
some for more nefarious reasons. These neutral parties will fight for
any and all if personal gain is at stake. The mechanizations of
Wissenschaft saunter to battle under the banners of both Light and Dark
as many seek the wisdom within the Lost Loggia.
In times past it
was part of the Empire, but now the alliance has become Empire's
greatest opposition. Like Abel, it's agents pursue the knowledge of Lost
Loggia, from which they hope to obtain enough power to change the world
according to their will.
CHURCH
The church keeps the Faith in
Gaia. It's task is to tirelessly hunt down the supernatural forces that
threaten the world. The Church's members are devout believers, willing
to sacrifice whatever is necessary to fulfil their sacred mission.
EMPIRE
TheSacred Holy Empire of Abel
has been the mightiest power in Gaia for seven centuries. After the
previous Emperor's death and the rise to the throne of the child empress
Elisabetta, Abel is grouping it's depleted forces in order to regain
it's supremecy.
SAMAEL
The last heirs of Gaia's
supernatural creatures, who stayed hidden from the eyes of mankind
during more than seven centuries. Now their leaders' the mysterious
Fallen Angels, have begun to activate their agents, preparing them to
change the world to their own designs.
WISSENSCHAFT
The obscure organisation
created by the enigmatic prince Lucanor is a shadow that extends through
the entire world with the aim of furthering it's master's mysterious
designs. Thanks to it's tremendous techno-magical advances, it's agents
possess implants and improvements that give them incredible abilities.
